Autumn's October Favorites

Autumn's October Favorites

Leaves are changing, and the air becomes more crisp each day—it’s official: Fall is finally settling into Denver! As chilly weather quickly approaches, it only seemed fitting to list some of my new favorites that would make perfect additions to your wardrobe! Whether attending a wedding in the mountains or keeping cuddly at home, these items are the ideal fall additions for any occasion.

We can’t talk about fall without starting with sweaters; personally, chunky sweaters are my bread and butter once it start cooling off. This colorful jacquard knit sweater from Flying Tomato reminded me of things my stylish aunts wore growing up—think Phoebe from Friends.

The high neckline and long, puckered sleeves give any skirt or pair of jeans a comfy appeal.

Style this 90s-inspired sweater with Vervet super high-rise wide-leg jeans and complete the retro look with mystic Mary Janes.

These Free People soft leather flats feature studded details, an adjustable strap, and a classic rounded toe. They are the perfect way to add color to your fall wardrobe.

When the fall weather is still too warm for chunky sweaters, the Moon River v-neck long-sleeve top is the perfect transition piece. Its lightweight design allows for comfortable layering on those not-chilly enough days.

Patterned knit continues to have my heart, especially this floral pattern sweater with a dropped shoulder and rounded neckline. The collar, cuffs, and hem ribbing structure the sweater’s overall loose fit.

Promesa USA also made a matching satin floral-printed skirt for this sweater, but the sweater also pairs perfectly with the Veveret black high-rise wide-trouser jeans. The sweater's ribbing sits above the jeans' patch pocket details, leaving just enough room for an accented belt.

My go-to accessory for this outfit and many other Lariat favorites? The Axesoria West western-designed vegan belt. Namaste Jewelry has also caught my eye with their excellent selection of jewelry, such as this Izra black and white stone ring. Hypoallergenic and nickel-free, this ring is an everyday item that could go with anything.

I would pair any of these outfits with Stivali’s western-inspired black boots. Rich suede and metal accents add to the rustic, contemporary style fall invites.

For slightly more elegant occasions, like work party's or charity dinners, the En Creme’s polka-dotted wide-leg jumpsuit is a must-have.

This light brown jumpsuit, tied at the shoulders and pleated throughout the bottom, offers the look of a dress with all the comfort of pants, making it perfect for transitioning from play dates with the kiddos to drinks with friends. Plus, it has pockets.

My eye for one-pieces led me to this Veveret, medium-washed sleeveless denim jumpsuit

The button-down front, oversized pockets, collared neck, and extra wide pants create a quintessential set perfect for picking apples or pumpkins.

Louenhide’s Jolene canvas crossbody bag adds enough contrast with its black and white trim to complete the ideal denim ensemble.

This bag can be worn with the gold chain or wide guitar straps and has pockets galore to carry all your autumn essentials.

Fall is also wedding, work party, and charity dinner season, so elegant dresses are imperative for this list.

This beautiful halter-neckline rosette midi dress is perfect for a rehearsal dinner. The satin finish and floral pin give it a classic appeal, making you feel elegant and ready for any special event.

Another gorgeous LBD available at Lariat is this sleeveless dress from En Creme.

The black midi dress ties gracefully in the back and accentuates the flared waistline- adorable, lightweight, and ready for layering!

If you're still itching to wear color this fall, the La Plage printed dress from Bishop + Young is a perfect way to continue wearing color as the weather cools.

Its unique pattern, flattering V-neck, and symmetrical hemline make it a standout piece in any fall wardrobe.

I also love Peter and June's Alma choker and Drip Drop hoops.

These 18k gold-plated and waterproof pieces are trendy yet simplistic and great for dressing up or down.

Pumpkin carving or toasting your favorite fall bride, these pieces are sure to turn heads.

Any good fall outfit needs oversized sunglasses, and the CEO Tortoise pair from TopFoxx is an edgy must-have.

Polarized with UV 400 protection from UVA and UVB rays, these geometric frames provide empowering and iconic eye protection.

TopFoxx is also catching my attention by branching into sustainable designs like the Bardot Tortoise sunglasses.

Again, oversized and chic take center stage, but they are 85% sustainably made this time!

I’ve saved my favorite fall item for last, the Louenhide’s Diaz Crossbody bag in steel blue. I adored this bag so much in black that it’s no surprise the steel blue version also stole my heart.

The crescent silhouette pairs wonderfully with the removable powder-coated chain strap. Like in black, this bag has a coordinating strap and slip and zip pockets. Thanks to Louenhide, this delicious steel blue color became my go-to Fall 2024 color.
